
Joshua Ross
Joshua Ross, MS, CSCS is a performance coach, educator, and consultant specializing in speed development, movement efficiency, and applied sports science for field and court athletes. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), HSSCC, and an NHSSCA Advisory Board Member for the state of Florida.
Ross serves as the Director of VZN Performance, where he leads athlete development programs grounded in biomechanics, sprint mechanics, and data-driven training methodologies. He is also the Regional Director for QB Vision Tampa Bay, overseeing quarterback development and performance systems across the region, and the Regional Sales Manager for Critical Reload, operating at the intersection of performance training and evidence-based nutrition.
He is currently the Head Track Coach at Springstead High School and previously served as Head Football Coach at Citrus High School. In addition, Ross has held roles as Performance Director for Carter High School and Pasco High School, contributing to long-term athletic development, speed systems implementation, and return-to-performance models.
Ross works with youth, high school, and collegiate athletes while collaborating with coaches and organizations to advance performance education through research-informed, coach-driven practice.
